1. AGREEMENT
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and APL Solution Inc. ("APL Solution Inc.", "we", "us"), the operator of BetterReviews (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. THE SERVICE
BetterReviews helps businesses collect customer reviews: it provides a customisable review page and QR card, drafts review text that customers may edit and choose to post on third-party platforms, routes lower ratings to the business as private feedback, can issue goodwill coupon codes, and provides a dashboard. We do not post reviews on anyone's behalf, and customers always remain free to post any review, of any rating, on any platform.
3. ACCOUNTS
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 18. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per business unless we agree otherwise.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree NOT to:
- create, solicit, or publish fake, misleading, or incentivised public reviews, or use the Service to impersonate customers;
- offer customers payment or rewards in exchange for public reviews (the coupon feature is for thanking private feedback only);
- violate the review or content policies of any third-party platform on which reviews are posted, or any applicable law, including consumer-protection and advertising rules;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; probe, disrupt, or overload the Service; or resell it without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Reviews are posted by customers directly on third-party platforms under those platforms' own terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party platform, including Google, and we do not guarantee that any platform will accept, display, or retain any review.
6. PLANS, BILLING, AND TAXES
The Free plan includes the limits described on our pricing page and may be changed with notice. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record: your purchase is made from Paddle, which handles billing, invoicing, applicable taxes, and payment data under Paddle's own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan continues to the end of the paid period, after which the account moves to the Free plan. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
7. YOUR CONTENT
You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, business details) and of feedback data collected through your review page. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for your use of customer feedback.
8. OUR PROPERTY
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to APL Solution Inc. and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while these Terms are in effect. Do not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service.
9. DISCLAIMERS
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any particular business outcome, rating, or number of reviews. AI-generated review drafts are suggestions; the customer controls what is posted.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APL Solution Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in that period (or ₹5,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. INDEMNITY
You will indemnify APL Solution Inc. against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights (including platform review policies).
12. TERMINATION
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account for breach, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the product, with reasonable notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive (7–11, 13) survive termination.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and the courts of Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
14. CHANGES
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version and update the date above, and notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
